Has the tide turned? With the S&P/ASX 200 and S&P 500 gaining 5.6 per cent and 7.9 per cent since June 20, having shed more than 15 per cent and 23 per cent respectively between January 1 and June 20, investors hope this is the bottom of the correction.

There is never a bad time to invest in a company with good prospects, but right now might be better than most. Investors with low cash reserves have to figure out what to sell. It takes nerve to commit to a company, but it takes just as much willpower to say goodbye.
