Gina Rinehart on top as pandemic re-orders Rich List

Iron ore magnate Gina Rinehart would be Australia's wealthiest person if the Financial Review Rich List were being published on Friday, as miners hold up relatively well amid the market carnage wrought elsewhere by COVID-19.

Ms Rinehart, with a fortune of $18 billion estimated on Thursday by the Australian Financial Review's Rich List research team, has overtaken the richest person on 2019's Rich List, Anthony Pratt.
