Donation warnings as fundraising efforts top $200m

More than $200 million has been raised by business, celebrities, philanthropists and the public for the bushfire crisis gripping the country.
That figure is growing by the hour. The tally by AFR Weekend does not include major appeals including those from the Red Cross and the Salvation Army because some of the donations are flowing to those organisations and there's a risk of double dipping.
