As markets capitulated to President Donald Trump’s tariffs, the big tech stocks – Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla, collectively known as the magnificent seven – have been simultaneously hit with falling valuations and volatile earnings.

Although geopolitics is expected to play havoc with the market and these stocks in the immediate term, AI leaders are still expected to do well over the long term. Many investors view this period as a buying opportunity.
