The news: The Biden Administration is supporting a bipartisan bill to force ByteDance, TikTok’s Chinese parent company, to sell the app.

If it doesn’t, the bill, passed by the US House of Representatives on Saturday (Sunday AEST) as part of an omnibus that also funds Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, would let authorities ban it.
