Virgin Australia has inked a deal with OpenAI which will let the airline make its flight details available to ChatGPT users, allowing the chatbot to make travel recommendations and plan and eventually book flights.
The airline said on Friday that its tech team had begun building on the OpenAI platform, and were investigating ways to connect the Virgin Australia app directly to ChatGPT, using recently announced developer tools.
