Top spy agency cranks up hiring to help businesses fight threats
Australia’s top intelligence agency says it is well on the way to hitting ambitious hiring targets for cybersecurity experts, as businesses look for greater collaboration with federal agencies to avoid falling foul of Optus-style data breaches.
Rachel Noble, director-general of the Australian Signals Directorate, says there are 700 recruits in the pipeline who have passed the selection process and are waiting to join the organisation.
