Telstra mobile phone users suffer 11-hour outage

Telstra has restored service to its mobile customers across Australia after an 11-hour outage prevented customers from making or receiving calls on Tuesday morning.

Customers began reporting mobile service problems about 10pm AEST on Monday, according to outage detector Down Detector. According to a tweet from Telstra at 8:30am AEST, the majority of affected customers were in NSW and Queensland.
