The Tech Council of Australia is assessing whether billionaire businessman Richard White should stay on its board amid accusations of inappropriate behaviour levelled at the founder of software giant WiseTech Global.

The council represents the country’s largest technology firms, and Mr White sits on a board that includes Tesla chairwoman Robyn Denholm, Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar and Canva co-founder Cliff Obrecht.
