Rare earths miner hacked after Chinese investors ordered out
ASX-listed rare earths miner Northern Minerals has been hit by a cyberattack from a notorious ransomware group, which has posted details on the dark web of troves of sensitive data stolen a day after China-linked investors were ordered to sell their stakes.
The hackers claim to have stolen files including the emails of its former and current chief executive and the current chief financial officer, as well as details on shareholders and strategic operational data.
