Musk triumphs over Australian government on stabbing videos

Elon Musk’s social media site X has triumphed over the Australian government’s attempts to police the internet in a Federal Court ruling that allows it to restore videos of the April stabbing of a Sydney bishop.
The independent eSafety Commission persuaded the court to grant an emergency global takedown ruling on April 22 because it saw the videos as terrorist content that could influence Australians.
