Murdoch-backed Unlockd signs major British deal with Tesco Mobile

Lachlan Murdoch-backed telecommunications and advertising technology start-up Unlockd has sealed an exclusive partnership with one of Britain's largest mobile phone providers Tesco Mobile, including content deals with Facebook and News Limited's Sun newspaper.

The deal is the second major global expansion partnership for one of Australia's most closely watched emerging tech players, which is already selling its innovative ad-funded smartphone platform in the US through Sprint Telecom and in Australia through Lebara Mobile.
