Microsoft has finally fought back against Apple, almost four years after its rival stole the lead in the PC business by taking the chips out of its iPhones and iPads and putting them into laptops.
The Seattle-based software giant, which lately has been focusing much of its attention on its artificial intelligence partnership with ChatGPT creator OpenAI, announced a new line of laptops that, like Apple’s MacBooks, use the chips out of mobile phones, but use them to run generative AI tasks locally.
