Google's Wing delivery service, which uses flying drones to deliver online products to customers within minutes of an order being received, is expanding to new places in Australia, officials said.
The delivery service, owned by Google's parent company Alphabet, has been partnering with online retailers in Canberra and Logan, Queensland. It has found the Australian regulatory framework so friendly that it is going to start flying its drones in more locations, said Wing's head of policy and government affairs, Margaret Nagle.
