Former Liberal MP Dave Sharma said he plans to use experience from his years in public life to help emerging technology companies handle toughening media and investor scrutiny, as partner of a corporate advisory firm targeting start-ups.

Following the loss of Sydney’s blue-ribbon seat of Wentworth in the last federal election, Mr Sharma has joined newly established SWG Capital, alongside long-time lawyer Andrew Silberberg and investment banker Jeremy Waine.
