Social media giant Meta has blamed a glitch for preventing worried Australian users from finding the latest information on Cyclone Alfred, restoring its search feature with the latest posts from news organisations.
Media reports pointed out that Australian users searching for news on the cyclone’s impending arrival and updates on preparations were met with a message that the search term was being “temporarily hidden” because some posts went against its community standards.
