Successful entrepreneurs are rarely the single-minded renegades of the Steve Jobs myth, but must be willing to collaborate widely and have the self-awareness to know when to stop running their company, The Australian Financial Review Innovation Summit has heard.
A panel session exploring the ''entrepreneurial mindset'' also heard that corporates attempting to run start-up incubators and accelerators were often failing founders, as they would not embrace failure and were not connected enough to decision-makers at the heart of the organisation.
