The judge hearing a lawsuit alleging Android users are scared into doing what’s most profitable for Google has likened the warnings on Android phones to “barbed wire”, and suggested people who get past all the warnings to install apps themselves might only do so because they’re “risk-takers”.

Google’s lawyers showed the judge internal documents and emails by Epic Games executives that they contended show Google isn’t scaring off users the way Epic has alleged, much less that its phones have barbed wire in them.
