Cyberspies phone businesses to warn of danger but half don’t respond

Nearly half of the businesses contacted by Australia’s top cyberspies to warn about a potential attack in the last year never returned the phone call, the Australian Signals Directorate’s new director-general Abigail Bradshaw says.

The Australian Signals Directorate, part of the country’s intelligence community, closely monitors the activity of cyberthreats across the country and proactively contacts businesses and agencies when it has evidence something could be wrong.
