Media companies have been warned not to let Facebook dominate their content distribution after the social network allowed news organisations to publish articles directly onto its app without linking back to their own websites.
After months of negotiations, nine news outlets including The New York Times, The Guardian and BBC News have joined with Facebook to launch Instant Articles.
