Australia’s eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman Grant has cautioned against trusting big tech companies to regulate their own development of artificial intelligence.

Last week, the Biden administration secured an agreement from seven companies including OpenAI, Google and Microsoft to a set of voluntary commitments on the development of AI technology.
