Australian social media platform Linktree has soared to start-up unicorn status, more than quadrupling its value in a $US110 million ($152 million) funding round that values the five-year old company at $US1.3 billion.
The start-up has become a well-known brand to social media users, by allowing celebrities, sports stars and brands to create a single page to consolidate their presence across various online services, and with the ability to accept payments.
