Aussie company Quasar joins the global satellite space race
Washington | Quasar, a CSIRO-backed technology company, that claims to be building “Wi-Fi for space” has commenced countdown for a US launch of its technology in Florida next week
The company, which is in the midst of a $10 million series-A capital raising, has built ground stations to communicate with numerous satellites at the same time, instead of the traditional one-to-one interaction. It is hoping to show US customers that it can create a real-time map of all objects in an increasingly crowded sky.
