Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, is behind a new space start-up that aims to be a world leader in enabling growth of the booming satellite industry.
Quasar, which wants to do for space “what Wi-Fi did for earth”, is the second company created under the CSIRO’S science and technology investment fund, Main Sequence Ventures. The organisation’s venture science model involves identifying a problem then assembling the science capability, team and investment around it.
