Regulators and investors are divided in their opinion on the merits of a rush of early stage technology stocks coming to market through “backdoor listings" but they can be sure the trend will continue in 2015.
Around 20 tech start-ups have either already floated on the Australian Securities Exchange through a backdoor listing, or released a prospectus detailing their plans to do so, this year. Two of the most notable examples have been foreign listings from Singapore’s MigMe and Silicon Valley’s 1-Page .
