Sezzle, Openpay and Splitit's numbers surge in pay-later blitz

Buy now, pay later minnows have joined Afterpay, Zip and Humm in reporting record customer numbers in a year in which Sezzle moved to expand in India, Openpay acquired customers faster in Britain than Australia and Splitit worked with credit card companies to speed up global acceptance.

The three – which have all seen share price surges in recent months – announced higher customer numbers on Monday as more sales were pumped through their services. Like their bigger rivals, each is focused on global opportunity.
