Regal swoops on Queensland aluminium royalty, preps cash call

Funds management powerhouse Regal is busy rounding up investors for a $20 million capital raising to help it acquire a royalty over a Northern Queensland bauxite operation, Street Talk understands.

The $204 million Regal Resources Royalties Fund has agreed terms to acquire a 2.3 per cent uncapped royalty over the Skardon River tenements operated by ASX-listed Metro Mining, according to fund-raising documents seen by this column.
