Pact Group is in talks to buy Barry Smorgon's Jalco for around $150 million, sources told Street Talk.

The fast-moving consumer goods manufacturer was put up for sale last year in a Grant Samuel-led process. Sources said Pact and Jalco had been in negotiations for several months and a deal could be reached as soon as this week.
