Custom tailoring biz InStitchu fields overseas interest; adviser suits up

InStitchu, a made-to-measure menswear brand that’s become a go-to label for grooms wanting the perfect suit, has caught the eye of offshore suitors after its sales tipped over $1 million a week.

Street Talk can reveal InStitchu has hired mid-market boutique advisory firm Tiger & Bear Partners to canvass its options after receiving unsolicited approaches from global competitors and private equity buyers. The business is on a tear, generating more than $40 million annually and signing an exclusive partnership with Myer to offer its suits online last month.
