London fintech fund Apis presses the flesh Down Under

Apis Partners dealmakers have escaped London’s grey skies and are soaking up the final days of a Sydney summer as they run the rule over a handful of growth companies in Australia and press the flesh with investors.

Apis is a global fintech private equity investor, overseeing $US2.3 billion ($3.7 billion) in assets under management. Its portfolio is home to stakes in UK-based Moneybox, Asia-based Kpay and Egyptian non-bank financial services company MNT. It also holds Leap Finance, a financing platform for students accessing universities, which operates in Australia.
