Duxton Farms, an ASX-listed fund of agricultural assets, has some big investors in Phil King’s Regal Partners and mysterious Singapore-based hedge fund manager Richard Magides.
But Duxton and Ed Peter – the fund’s ex-Deutsche Asset Management chairman – aren’t exactly household names. This is a good thing because the sort of transaction the fund is planning is so cringeworthy they would be hoping few would notice.
