President Donald Trump’s slashing of the US government’s diversity, equality and inclusion (DEI) programs earlier this month was met with a chorus of sweaty grunts in office cubicles from San Francisco to Sydney.
Putting aside the subsequent inane discourse of wounded men, the sea change has narrowed the mind on some of the more ridiculous manifestations of the DEI manifesto. Heard the one about Rio Tinto’s Jakob Stausholmdoing a welcome to country before every earnings call?
