We marvelled last week at Link Group’s appointment of Vivek Bhatia as its new chief executive on August 8.

Bhatia joins Link from QBE Insurance. But until 2018, he was the CEO of icare, the NSW government’s workers’ compensation insurer currently engulfed in a corruption scandal. Bhatia was appointed to run icare’s forerunner in 2014 by a board of directors chaired by Michael Carapiet, who also happens to be chairman of Link Group!
