It’s birthday time again for Lindsay Fox. And while the trucking magnate and Rich Lister isn’t repeating the $5 million cruise trip from New York to Montreal he put on last year to celebrate turning 85, Wednesday’s lunch to celebrate his 86th is arguably more pricey, given that it’s taking place at Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria, to which he donated $100 million last year.
The key question for those on the guest list is how to fit a dress code that specifies “kilt or casual”.
