Langer suddenly sees the elephant in the boardroom

Former foreign minister Julie Bishop got a non-job that involved flouncing around the company’s “ore-some” Osborne Park HQ in a staff video. Then came the mystifying decision to add former Test cricketer and Australian men’s team coach Justin Langer to the mining company’s board. Langer was announced in December 2022 when the MinRes share price was $89. It’s now down 75 per cent.
