Josh Frydenberg passes No 1 ticket to Dylan Alcott, twice

The suggestion was always far-fetched, and with the AFL interviewing shortlisted candidates in the past week, Frydenberg’s name has not made the dispatches.
Though it has made others. At last Thursday’s President’s Club function at the Carlton Football Club, the former treasurer kissed goodbye to the No 1 ticketholder position, that ceremonial role having been passed (by Blues president and ex-PwC chief Luke Sayers) to multiple Grand Slam winner and former Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott.
