Melbourne’s most cultured and most wealthy citizens gathered at the State Library on Tuesday evening to farewell its outgoing chairman (and Tanarra Capital founder) John Wylie. Who, after nine years, is moving on.

Addressing the crowd, Wylie compared chairing the august institution with his former role heading the Melbourne Cricket Ground trust.
