So lamented Evans & Partners’ Julian Mulcahy during the Cettire web call last week, caught on hot mic after his interrogation of the company ended. The aside, plaintively uttered, lays bare just how perplexing the divisive luxury reseller’s non-answers on its Thursday results briefing were. And to think: Mulcahy wasn’t out to trap Cettire’s leadership. He’s a friend.
