Jon Adgemis – helicopter passenger, Hollywood film producer, former KPMG dealmaker and embattled publican – was hoping things would quieten down.
It has been a bruising few months at his Public Hospitality business, groaning under hundreds of millions of dollars in debt. Then, in May, Adgemis’ firm avoided ruin by convincing Deutsche Bank, US private credit group Muzinich, and opportunistic credit investor Ben Madsen’s Archibald Capital to refinance part of the operation.
