Hacked Optus gets award for cybersecurity nous

The telco that failed to prevent the theft of customer details of 10 million Australians, was celebrated on Thursday night for its cybersecurity and online safety innovations.
Optus – the winner – was “uncontested” in the category, one of 11 awarded at the annual Australian Communications Industry Awards.
