On Friday morning, Graeme Samuel resigned as a non-executive director of the National Stock Exchange of Australia because “I had some expectations as to the pace of restructure and the governance of the NSX and they have not been met.”

Marvel as Professor Samuel flatly refuses to acknowledge his own agency in this furore, as if he’d innocently wandered into an enterprise whose problems weren’t readily apparent!
