Four Corners to play role in Holgate mediations
Myriam RobinRear Window editorAustralia Post has agreed to participate in mediation with sacked chief executive Christine Holgate. But a month and a half after doing so, and nearly two months after Holgate threatened to sue if it wasn’t forthcoming, the two parties are yet to formally begin the process.
Holgate’s lawyers (her star legal team includes Rebekah Giles and prominent barrister Arthur Moses) have met Australia Post directors Tony Nutt and Jan West for pre-mediation. And after much cause for delay (whose exact instigators change depending on who you ask), those involved expect the full thing to take place sometime in mid-July.
