Secret workplace affairs rarely end well. Particularly between CEOs and their chief HR officers.
US start-up Astronomer is already down CEO Andy Byron and will probably lose chief people officer Kristin Cabot after the two were caught canoodling at a Coldplay concert last week. Sure, internet sleuths tracking down the identities of random concert-goers to shame them for their presumed misconduct is exceedingly icky. But so is reporting to a company whose top executives are in a secret relationship. If you know, it’s weird, and if you don’t, it’s worse.
