Crown’s FY21 annual report lays bare the lucre paid to Crown Resort’s outgoing board members and “good leaver” executives who failed to anticipate, prevent or remedy Crown’s multiple regulatory failings.

But it also reveals a factor in their defence: while some of Crown’s board have been accused of insufficient regulatory scepticism or curiosity, none could be accused of not ... well, turning up.
