Collar-pulling around private credit, its returns and its risks was inevitable when one of the country’s biggest financial planning networks essentially put a red flag against the asset class.

As revealed by this masthead, Count Financial is recommending advisers sell off holdings in at least three private credit funds run by Metric Private Credit Partners and one by MA Financial. It is also launching a broad review of private credit to assess whether it’s worth the risk.
