Chevron’s unprecedented war with unions over a Facebook page

Of all the efforts of gas giants to shut down the Offshore Alliance’s spicy social media activity, it was cut and dry copyright law that (temporarily) worked.

Anthony Albanese banning under-16-year-olds from social media platforms from next month may ease the flood of online toxicity teenagers are exposed to. But it’s not just teens who use them to pick on each other.

Over in Western Australia, it’s the unions and gas companies too, as highlighted by some recent ructions over the Offshore Alliance’s Facebook page.
