Public appearances of Bruce Mathieson have unfortunately dwindled after the billionaire pub baron was last year diagnosed with myeloma, an aggressive cancer where plasma cells develop in the bone marrow.

Surprised then that we learnt Mathieson recently made an appearance on the podcast of self-besmirched former AFL player Sam Newman. Maybe less surprised he has his own podcast (that domain of every crank and fallen star), ensuring Melburnians aren’t robbed of his searing insights.
