‘Who needs a day job?’: $23m Toorak mansion adds $4m in two years
A string of trophy home sales have revealed a buoyant prestige market, with homes in Sydney and Melbourne gaining millions as deep-pocketed buyers step up.
Melbourne surgeons Uri Hanegbi and Karen McKertich have sold their Toorak mansion for about $23 million – $4 million more than they paid for the St Georges Road abode just two years ago.
The medico pair listed the property in March with a price guide of $24 million through Marshall White’s Marcus Chiminello, who negotiated the sale to an unidentified buyer.
