In New York, hand-loomed textiles upholster an apartment wall in the world’s tallest residential building, Central Park Tower. The detailed panels cocoon the 66th-floor residence from the cacophony of the city below.
They are also woven soundscapes: visual representation of the Beatles’ Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds translated digitally onto fabric by British sound alchemist Nadia-Anne Ricketts.
