Sydney University sells Woollahra mansion for $9m
Naomi Triguboff Travers, niece of billionaire property mogul Harry Triguboff, has bought the Woollahra mansion long owned by Sydney University for more than $9 million.
The sale of the late Victorian-era house has long been the official residence of the university’s vice-chancellor since 1990 when it was bought for $2.6 million amid an outcry from students and teaching staff over the grandiose expenditure at a time of federal government cuts to tertiary education funding.
